Living in a 70s brick residence the owner wanted to update the space to be more in keeping with modern day living, but wished to retain certain key aspects she loved that connected the home to it’s era such as the timber window architraves and doors.

After assessing key needs and requirements we created a design to enhance the existing potential of the spaces, whilst selecting materials to be in-keeping with the era and style of the home.

Laundry functionality was also enhanced including a pulley clothesline for airing/drying clothes, which seems to have become a regular feature of ours in the Ballarat climate! In addition to enhanced storage and flow, we also designed the laundry sink with a mirror and shelving to double as a second morning prep area with multiple teenagers in the house
